At its height, as many as 116 different makes of automobiles were sold and repaired on what is now called Chicago's Motor Row, a designated Chicago landmark district on the city's near south side. Athens Construction was contacted to renovate one of the landmark buildings at
2332 So. Michigan Ave. into residential complex comprised of 22 high end condominium units with indoor parking spaces and rooftop gardens.
All architecturally significant historic features such as the elaborately carved stone work, ornate facades and intricately scrolled ironwork were preserved while the interiors were transformed into luxury open-space style environments, staying true to the original architectural details. The sold-out building now takes its place among the new developments transforming Motor Row into a major convention and entertainment area.
