The reconstruction of the St John Guardian Chapel became necessary in order to prevent the structure from continuous flooding suffered over time due to its proximity to the Desplaines River.
The original structure was dismantled and elevated to a higher level.
The structure matched the architectural style and the adjacent facilities. Interiors are simple and elegant appropriate to a place of worship.
The project was completed in 9 months within the original budget, thanks to a close cooperation with the architectural firm's project team, the perish council' representatives and clergy.
